Welcome to rec.sport.volleyball. The dimensions of the court, and
other frequently asked questions are answered in this newsgroup's
frequently asked questions list.
        http://www.volleyball.org/rsv_faq.html

Both questions can be answered in Section I of the USA Volleyball
indoor rulebook located on-line here:
        http://usavolleyball.org/pub/rule_book.htm

The court measures 59' x 29'6". [USAV R1.1.1] The net itself must be
at least 32' in length. [USAV R2.1] The posts should be 19.5" to 39"
from each sideline. [USAV R2.5]. The calculation of pole to pole
distance is left as an exercise for the reader. :-)

Best Regards,
