I consulted the rulebook and got some different results from other
posters.  Note, fractions of inches didn't print correctly in the
97-98 book, so I converted from the metric where appropriate.


USAV 1997-98 indoor rules
Rule 2.4 Height of the net
2.4 Commentary:  the height of the net may be varied for s specific
    age groups as follows:

age             Female/rev. mixed 6     Males/mixed 6

55 and over     2.38m   7' 9.7"
45 and over     2.19m   7' 2.2"
18 and under    2.24m   7' 4 1/8"       2.43m  7' 11 5/8"
16 and under    2.24m   7' 4 1/8"       2.43m  7' 11 5/8"
14 and under    2.24m   7' 4 1/8"       2.24m  7' 4 1/8"
12 and under    2.13m   7' 0"           2.13m  7' 0"
10 and under    1.98m   6' 6"           2.13m  7' 0"
